It is not fireworks but something is popping on Cookman Avenue this weekend. 

Parlor Gallery presents the opening reception of “Made Out of Beautiful” Saturday.

“This group show explores the collision between pop and unpop art,” said Jenn, owner of Parlor Gallery.  “Please join us in Asbury Park for this exciting art event.”

Artists in the show include Jack the Ripper, Aaron Tompkins, Max Papeschi, Lisa Brawn, Ed Mironiuk, Mike Leavitt, Miles Ladin, The Partidge in a Pear Tree (Shaun Partridge), Michele Senesi, Mark Mothersbaugh, Charles Krafft, Brandon McLean, Johnny Taylor, & Dvvid Presper Watson.

Opening reception Saturday, July 3 from 7 pm to 11 pm.  Regular gallery hours: Wednesday and Thursday 12 pm to 7 pm, Friday and Saturday
from 12 pm to 9 pm and Monday and Tuesday by appointment.
