“PARENTS DEFENDING BULLIES IS BULLSH*T”: COMIC KATHY GRIFFIN GETS SERIOUS ABOUT TEEN GLBTIQ SUICIDE + SHOW YOUR SUPPORT FOR EQUALITY

The great comic Kathy Griffin got serious with a statement about the tragic string of gay teen suicides.  Excerpts and the video below…

“The politicians, so-called religious leaders and pundits who have made careers out of saying that being gay is wrong – they all have blood on their hands.”

“All you anti-gay public figures, and you know who you are, you have the blood of these dead teens on your hands.”

“You have heard of the trickle down theory.  This is trickle down homophobia.”

“Parents defending these bullies as ‘just being kids’ – that’s bullsh*t.  It is about right and wrong and bullies are wrong.”

“All I can say to you gay teens is that it does get better.  It does.  Two words for you: Suzi Orman.  She has three-hundred million reasons proving it is all right to be gay.”

If you are GLBTIQ and in crisis, call the Trevor Project, an organization focused on suicide prevention of gay, lesbian, transgender and questioning teens:  866 4 U TREVOR (866.488.7386)
