Hotel Tides and the Monmouth County Arts Council join creative forces Sunday with their first holiday art and fine crafts sale.

The sale will feature the work of area artists and craftspeople including art glass by Yvonne Yaar, miniatures and wearable art by Vicky Culver, note cards by Lisa Marie O’Connell, pottery by Eileen Kornbluh, and prints by Susan Fairgrieve, in addition to food samplings from the hotel’s chef and drink specials from the bar.

“This is the perfect opportunity to procure one of a kind holiday gifts for your loved ones while supporting the arts locally,” said Ryan Jimenez, general manager, Hotel Tides. “The staff here and I are very excited to present this event.”

For a $5 suggested donation – supporting the arts council’s education programs – shoppers are entered to win door prizes by the featured artists as well as festive fair from the hotel’s nationally-recognized restaurant.

As the official county arts agency, the Monmouth County Arts Council brings 2,500 inexpensive or free concerts, films, dance and theatre productions to more than 700,000 area children and adults every year.

Holiday art and fine crafts fair at the Hotel Tides, 408 Seventh Avenue: Sunday (Dec. 18) from 2 to 6 pm. A special $40 price-fix menu will be available after the sale. Reservations suggested. Email Jimenez for more information at
