TOP THREE HOLIDAY NAIL COLORS: GLOSS SALON
‘Tis the season for sparkle and for many that means more glam in their grooming.
Just in time for the holidays, Gloss Salon on Lake Avenue has welcomed a new full-time nail specialist Benay Morgenstein, who brings more than 20 years of industry experience to town. Morgenstein’s resume includes a strong following from her years at a few of Monmouth County’s top salons and spas.
“Benay is not your average newbie nail tech,” said John Partusch, owner, Gloss. “Like everyone here, she is a true professional dedicated to her clients and her craft with a super attention to detail and trends.”
For Holiday 2014, Morgenstein says the most popular polish colors are warm and deep. Iconic colors including reds, forest greens and creamy beiges with a subtle sparkle are the hottest. Some of her favorite seasonal polish shades are OPI’s Poinsettia, Cinnamon, Evergreen and Cashmere. For those looking for a little more “edgy sophistication,” Morgenstein recommends a top coat with glitter.
“Nails are a statement and the finishing touch to a festive or elegant holiday style,” said Morgenstein. “Also, getting your nails or toes done is a treat – a time to relax after all the running around. I love to pamper and take care of my clients with a manicure and reflexology pedicure.”
Morgenstein has developed her reflexology pedicure for years and the service has become her all-around most popular for men and women.
“Since I opened Gloss almost ten years ago, I have tried to make sure nothing at Gloss is average, which now includes nail services,” said Partusch. “Downtown Asbury Park has really arrived and I want Gloss to be at the top of its game to always deliver for the community. Adding Benay to our talented team is part of my commitment.”
