18TH ANNUAL WANAMASSA POINT YARD SALE IS SAT. 10th: HERE ARE THE DETAILS

For 18 years, Carol Scollay has been organizing the Wanamassa Point neighborhood yard sale as well as searching for an “Antiques Roadshow” like mega-find.
“All during the year, some of our regular shoppers will stop me around town to ask when the sale is,” said Scollay, laughing.  “This is a true neighborhood yard sale where people move the unwanted items in their home on at great prices but equally, the sale is about getting reacquainted with friends and keeping stuff out of the landfills.  The sale should be bigger than ever this year now that the Sunset Bridge has been rebuilt and traffic is moving again on Sunset Avenue.”
DETAILS:
  • Saturday, Sept. 10 at 9 am (no early birds).
  • Approximately 10 homes are expected to participate in this year’s sale.
  • Merchandise will include everything from power tools to clothing to furniture; vintage to almost new.
  • Wanamassa Point in Ocean Township is the peninsula off of Sunset Avenue, near the newly reconstructed Sunset Bridge in Ocean Township (search “Wanamassa Point Road” on your GPS).
