You are cordially invited Saturday, August 20, to an evening of fun for a purpose with fabulous food, cocktails and surroundings (see invite below). Come join this group of amazing people who work tirelessly for the most innocent and helpless of souls.

The Animal Legal Defense Fund interprets existing laws to help give a voice… and sometimes freedom to animals from the Orca whales at SeaWorld to zoo animals. Recently, their network of attorneys worked within the legal system to free two suffering lions from a zoo in Iowa. Today, thanks to the work of the ALDF, those lions are free and living in a sanctuary in Colorado. Currently, the ALDF is offering a financial reward to help bring a companion animal abuser to justice. This organization gets results.

“We believe in this organization because they use out-of-the-box thinking to leverage laws to definitively help animals and hold the people and businesses who abuse animals accountable,” said Morgan Mulford, co-host of the Interlaken fundraiser along with his partner Doug Palumbo.
